At each stage of the BMW IBU World Cup or the Olympic Games, players must create one team that will represent them throughout the stage.
Each team is composed of:
⚠️ Important: Once a stage has started, teams cannot be modified.
Male and female athletes earn points based on their final ranking in individual races only (Sprint, Pursuit, Individual, Mass Start).
The selected nation earns points based on its results in relay races during the stage.
The total number of points a player earns is the sum of:
| Final Ranking | Points Awarded |
|---|---|
| 1st | 90 pts |
| 2nd | 75 pts |
| 3rd | 65 pts |
| 4th | 55 pts |
| 5th | 50 pts |
👉 Only official final race rankings are taken into account.
To build their team, each player receives an initial budget of €300k to select:
For stages without relay races, the available budget is reduced by €50k, for a total of €250k, since no nation is selected.
For the first race of the season, an athlete's value is determined by their overall World Cup ranking from the previous season.
During the season, athlete values evolve dynamically at the start of each stage based on performances in recent races.
Athlete Value Formula:
👉 The value of athletes depends only on their performances in individual races. Relay races do not affect their value.
👉 The value of a nation is based only on relay races.
👉 Strong performances increase an athlete's value, while weaker results may decrease it.
👉 The value of an athlete is close to the average number of points they score per race since the beginning of the season.
👉 If an athlete does not participate in a race, their value decreases.
